Fromberg School Testing & Assessments.  Assessments within the Fromberg Schools will be conducted yearly.  The CAPTI will be given to students 6-11th grade.  PELI will be given to students withint the K1 program.  Acadience will be given to students K-5th grade.  SBAC will be given to students grades 3rd - 8th & 10th grade.  ACT testing is given to all 11th grade students.  Parents will be notified as soon as possible when results are received.  Science assessments will be given to students within the 5th and 8th grade.  Parents will be notified when results are obtained.  There is a possibility of a student who may need alternative assessments.  In Montana, students with significant cognitive disabilities (as determined by their IEP team) may participate in alternate assessments aligned with Montana's content standards, rather than the general state assessments, when the participation criteria is met.An assessment schedule has been completed for the current school year and upon request can be mailed to you.  Data gathered will help drive instruction within each grade level and individual learning plans will help student achievement.  You as a parent certainly are in control of your child's educational support, but Montana is not an "Opt-Out" participant and every student is expected to participate in all state and local assessments.
